Lucilla is a versatile Glacio Sub DPS with two modes: Glacio Chafe mode for Hiyuki teams and Echo mode for Echo Skill teams with Sigrika, Phrolova, or Galbrena.
Lucilla revolves around Focus Ring timing and resource management: Trace, Photos, and Reminiscence. Hitting the Spotlight timing is the key part of her rotation.
Multi-Team flexibility
Fast rotation
Low impact on overall performance outside of her best teams
Intro Skill - Clip It: Lucilla enters through her Intro, deals Glacio DMG, inflicts 1 stack of Glacio Chafe, and restores 100 Trace.
Resonance Skill - Phantom Frame: hold Resonance Skill to deploy Focus Ring and release inside Perfect Focus to trigger Spotlight.
Spotlight: restores additional Trace and Concerto Energy. In Glacio Chafe mode, it also inflicts an extra stack of Glacio Chafe.
Resonance Liberation - Clear As Day: use it once Lucilla has 3 Photos to enter Reminiscence.
Basic Attack - Tracing Forms: hold or tap Normal Attack during Reminiscence to consume Photos and trigger Oblivion.
Letting It Go: release or finish Tracing Forms Stage 3 to end Reminiscence, restore Concerto Energy, then swap out to activate Montage.
Tip : The key timing is Perfect Focus on Resonance Skill. Missing Spotlight lowers Trace generation and can delay Clear As Day.
WoQS 5-piece set
Main Echo : Glommouth
Perfect for the Hiyuki team. Be careful: Lucilla does not activate the personal boost, only the set Outro boost is valid here.
MC 5-piece set
Main Echo : Héron Impermanent
This set has little value with Hiyuki, but remains useful in Echo Skill teams.
PoNL 5-piece set

Here we assume no Tune Break Boost. Even at maximum value, it stays below Wishes of Quiet Snowfall but above Moonlit Clouds.

Lucilla is dedicated to Hiyuki in Glacio Chafe mode. She pushes this team above the Aemeath version, with around a 100K difference between the Hiyuki Lynae team and the Hiyuki Lucilla team.
Lucilla greatly boosts Echo Skill DMG, making these teams viable even if they remain below the Glacio Chafe setup.
Lucilla adds almost nothing to this team compared with Zhezhi, so spending 240 pulls for a nearly identical result is not worth it. It remains playable, but disappointing.

A very strong team that can deal even more damage depending on how you play the rotation.
The damage stays very high even with Lucilla on a standard weapon, making it a very good choice.
Without S1, Mornye cannot activate her 40% damage bonus, so she loses a lot of value here.
SpectroA very strong team, equivalent to Luuk premium team. Chisa is preferable, but this version will work without issue.
SpectroA very strong team, above Augusta premium team but below Lucy premium team.
Glacio
SpectroWuthering Waves is not Genshin. There is no elemental reaction system, which makes Lucilla less useful with Carlotta. She only reduces enemy resistance by 8%, and even with that included, the team damage gap between Zhezhi and Lucilla is only 2%.

Fusion
SpectroThis team is genuinely acceptable for endgame content, but keep in mind that older Galbrena Qiuyuan teams do not include Tune Interruption, so those older teams deal +65k more damage. (2.x teams are up to date on the site)
Havoc
SpectroDo not pull Lucilla specifically for this team, but as a fallback she can clear content quite easily.

Team Hiyuki S0 R1 - Chisa S0 R1.
In the Galbrena Shorekeeper team, Moonlit Clouds has always given me better results than other sets.
In older teams like Galbrena teams, the gap between Qiuyuan and Lucilla can look huge, but Tune Interruption was not included in 2.x. In reality, those teams deal 65k more damage per rotation.
At S3, her best Main DPS team is with Qiuyuan because, in Glacio with Phrolova set, nobody boosts everything Lucilla needs. Even then, the numbers feel quite disappointing to me: it is slightly below a Changli Lupa Brant team.
Moonlit Clouds feels more interesting than any other set with this team. It depends on your Lucilla investment.
In a Lucilla - Qiuyuan team, you want Lucilla Outro to go onto Phrolova, not Qiuyuan Outro.
In a Lucilla - Qiuyuan team, Moonlit Clouds looks better in theory. In practice, it is debatable because Moonlit Clouds buffs do not apply to an inactive character. Either way, the difference is minimal.
Qiuyuan set is more interesting on Lucilla here. The difference with other sets is very small and depends on your substats, but the Outro goes onto Cantarella, not Phrolova.
Lucilla uses different builds depending on the team. With Hiyuki, Wishes of Quiet Snowfall is her best option. In Echo Skill teams, Moonlit Clouds, Pact of Neonlight Leap, Law of Harmony + Glacio, or Dream of the Lost + Glacio can be used depending on the setup.
Lucilla's signature weapon is Freeze Frame.
Lucilla is mainly played with Hiyuki in Glacio Chafe teams, but she can also support Echo Skill teams with Sigrika, Phrolova, or Galbrena.
Lucilla manages Focus Ring timing to restore Trace, convert it into Photos, enter Reminiscence with Clear As Day, then use Basic Attack - Tracing Forms and Letting It Go before swapping out with her Outro buff.
Prioritize Resonance Liberation first, then Forte Circuit, then Resonance Skill, with Intro last.

Letting It Go: release or finish Tracing Forms Stage 3 to end Reminiscence, restore Concerto Energy, then swap out to activate Montage.
