A DPR figure is the total damage a team deals over one calculated rotation; DPS divides that by the duration of the same rotation. They are not community averages and not theoretical ceilings: they are the output of one explicit scenario, printed on every character page in the Calculations tab, next to the numbers it produced.

Unless a page says otherwise, that scenario is a level 90 character with talents at 10, a level 90 signature weapon at R1, the classic rotation, the team buffs named on the page, and a fixed Echo main-stat and substat distribution. A team whose calculations are not finished shows no number at all rather than a placeholder.

The Tier List is not a sort of the DPR table. It reads 5★ characters at S0R1 and 4★ at S6R1 so every character of a rarity is compared under the same assumption, ranks them inside the role being evaluated, and keeps separate grids for Fearless Trial and Whimpering Wastes. The Echo Analyzer scores out of 100: 20 points for the Echo set, 10 for the main Echo, 10 for main stats, 60 for substats, minus a penalty when Energy Regen falls short of what the rotation needs.

Calculations are revisited when a patch changes what they depend on: a new character, a balance pass, a new weapon or Echo set. Pages a patch did not affect keep their previous update date instead of being restamped, so the date shown on a page means something. The Tier List keeps its own change history, so a move between two tiers can be traced rather than simply appearing.
