Beta Optimisation tips

The DPR engine recalibrated with shared player scores compares your roster, sequences, weapons, buffs, order and enemy resistances to maximise the total score. Beta feature: tips may be inaccurate and can change.

Estimates based on the guides’ DPR teams, recalibrated from signed-in player scores (one contribution per player and context).

Enemy report
Mourning Aix icon 01spectro Mourning Aix
  • Vibration Strength Reduction taken: −15%. Parries do most of the stagger work.
  • Each counterattack removes 30% of its max Vibration Strength and restores 10 Resonance Energy.

ATK +6% every 5s, up to +72%. Immobilizing it wipes the stacks and pauses stacking.

Tips
  • Parry everything you can: it is the direct answer to its Vibration resistance.
  • Its parryable attack is easy to read, time your hit on that tell.
Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis icon 02fusion Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis
  • Starts the fight with +30% ATK.
  • Each Dodge Counter removes 20% of its max Vibration Strength and restores 10 Resonance Energy.

Vibration Strength Reduction taken: −20%.

Tips
  • Dodge Counters drain its gauge fastest: land one on every opening.
  • Dodge Counter = the attack after a perfect dodge, not the parry window.
  • It attacks almost nonstop, so openings come often.
Sentry Construct icon 03glacio Sentry Construct
  • Vibration Strength Reduction taken: −25%. Deals 30% more DMG while airborne.
  • Under a Negative Status or Tunability - Shifting, your Vibration Strength Reduction Rate rises by 50%.

ATK +3% every 5s, up to 10 stacks. Immobilizing it wipes the stacks and pauses stacking.

Tips
  • Ground it early: the first parry window (around 5s) shuts down its aerial attacks for most of the fight.
  • Missed that parry? Restart, the airborne phase is much harder.
  • Emptying its Vibration gauge disables the ATK stacking. Negative Status or Tune Break teams get there faster.
Tempest Mephis icon 04electro Tempest Mephis
  • Each counterattack adds 20% of max Off-Tune Level, making Tune Breaks easier.
  • Each counterattack also removes 30% of its max Vibration Strength.

ATK +30%, disabled while it is under Tune Strain - Shifting or Tune Strain - Interfered.

Tips
  • Here, counterattack = parrying the circular window during its attacks, not a Dodge Counter.
  • Almost every attack it has comes with a counter window.
  • Save your Tune Strain team for it: it shuts off the +30% ATK buff from Round 2.
Matrix Mimic icon 05 Matrix Mimic
  • Only appears in Singularity Expansion. Same RES against every attribute.
  • Damage dealt to it is worth 1.1× points.
Tips
  • Last boss of each round and a breather: no dangerous mechanics.
  • Hit it as much as you can to farm bonus points.

The next boss shows up almost instantly (about 1s). Each new round, bosses come back in the same order with far more HP and DMG, and their round effects kick in.

PLANNER GUIDE

How the Wuthering Waves Matrix works

Each round, the 3.6 bosses come back in the same order with more HP and damage. Every boss defeated adds points, and your total unlocks reward tiers from 12,000 to 58,000 points.

01

Study the bosses

Open each boss (Mourning Aix, Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis, Sentry Construct, Tempest Mephis, Matrix Mimic) to read its mechanics, its Round 2+ effect and the tips to beat it.

02

Build your teams of 3

Click a slot then a Resonator, or drag and drop. Most Resonators fit in one team, some supports in two.

03

Pick a Matrix buff

Assign one Matrix enhancement per team: General, Negative Status, Echo Skill or Tune Break.

04

Track your score

Enter each team score to see your total, the number of bosses cleared and your next reward tier.
